Return And Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at YAAKOMATRENDZ.COM. We want you to be happy with your purchase from us. If, however, you are not entirely satisfied with it, we’re here to help.
Please read our return policy below before you request a return. Only approved return requests will be processed for a refund or store credit.
All items are shipped from Canada and all returns must be sent to our Toronto return address. Returns shipped elsewhere will not be accepted.
If you wish to return an item for a refund, please contact us first within 14 days of your receiving it to request your return with your item number. We cannot accept return requests beyond 14 days.
All items must be returned in original condition (including return post card, packaging, and accessories). All items must be unworn, unaltered and unwashed.
Pack your item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Items must be received back at the return address within 30 days of delivery date to receive a store credit, or refund.
If an item is received after the 30 days has passed, you’ll be charged a 70% restocking fee.
REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED AFTER SHIPMENT AS BEEN RECEIVED.
We do not accept returns on swimwear due to hygiene reasons.
SHIPPING YOUR RETURN
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, shipping costs will only be refunded if there is an error with the order.
Return processing times may be slightly longer during sale events and holidays.
FOR RETURN SHIPMENTS, WE ADVISE YOU USE UPS, FEDEX, CANADA POST OR DHL.
Please contact us at Info@yaakomatrendz.com to request your return and get our return address first. Only approved returns will be accepted and processed.
EXCHANGES & STORE CREDIT
Because we cannot ensure the item you want in exchange will be available by the time your returned item is received, we unfortunately do not offer exchanges.
We will issue you a store credit once we’ve received your return. You’ll be able to use this to order another item. The store credit never expires.
All items returned for a refund will be charged a restocking fee.
If you have requested a refund, it will be credited back to your original payment method (debit card, credit card or PayPal etc).
Returns for refund will be processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the item, however credit or debit card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete the transaction. This will vary from bank to bank.
Shipping costs will only be refunded if there is an error with the order.
Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. YAAKOMATRENDZ does not provide free return shipping labels.
A handling fee will be assessed on orders that are refused by the customer at the time of delivery or returned due to an “un-deliverable” address, and will be deducted from your refund.
RETURNING CLEARANCE ITEMS
We do not accept returns on clearance items (final sale), for refunds. Should you return one, the item will be sent back to you, or you’ll be charged a 50% restocking fee.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
If you would like to cancel your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of placing it.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a defective item or incorrect item, please email us within 48 hours of receiving it at Info@yaakomatrendz.com with your order number and details.
